how to get rich stock market

Many people that try to get abundant with trading fall short. Everyone that invests for retirement with wide index funds winds up better off than if they have not. My question is one: how do some people get rich with trading? I'm not asking yourself how I can come to be one, however if they do anything else besides purchasing stocks and ETFs.
